This type of bodywork is what most would consider a deep tissue massage. It focuses on the connective tissue of the body that tends to bind muscles and restrict movement causing pain and discomfort. This technique causes the connective tissue to become more pliable and spacious, thus enabling the body to find its optimal balance and posture. It is a recommended prerequisite for MIST.

Myofascial Integration Technique (MIT)
This type of bodywork is similar to MIT in that it is deep tissue, it focuses on the connective tissue, and it assists the body in finding its optimal balance and posture. It is more intense than MIT and produces more pronounced results. MIST is done as a 10 session series, as each session focuses on a different component of the body. MIT is a recommended prerequisite for MIST.
Myofascial Integration Structural Technique (MIST)
This type of bodywork seeks to move the body from a tense state to a relaxed state. Circulation increases, muscles relax, and breathing deepens as a result of this technique. An eclectic mix of massage strokes along with stretching and soft music contribute to the calming effects of this type of massage.
Relaxation
This type of massage is normally reserved for public events and the on-site office environment. For more information and pricing, please contact Leslie.
